I know I have been neglectful of this blog and from here on out I am rededicating myself to it. It's been a really busy last couple of months. Besides the usual holiday stuff I've been dedicating myself to some business learnings, the revamping of my price list, integration of electronic contracts, releases and other slick paperless green-type business things. I've been a featured wedding vendor at "Celebrate Coloma Weddings" at the Coloma Country Inn. And I've taken some time off reveling in the pure pleasure of photographing things for the community and my family. I've shot a birth and I've formed business partnerships with an excellent personal trainer--Serena Rain of Wise Physique (keep an eye out for my photos and short films on her site), the wonderful family who runs Luigi's Deli in Martinez and I've been working on this amazing promotion that is going live in a matter of hours. We have also been playing the wii (but I digress). If you've never heard of Juice in The City I'm here to tell you about it, folks. It's one of those great deal-a-day sites. This is a one-of-a-kind promotion and I am at all not sure when or if I'll ever offer my services for such a low price (barring charitable works) again. For $50 you get a one-hour shoot at your choice of one of three sites (regular sitting fee of $150); the Lafayette Reservoir, The Martinez Waterfront Park or Heather Farms Park. The results of this session? You'll get to choose the best 1 of 10-20 hand-edited proofs for an heirloom-quality 11x14 print (a $45 value). Any additional prints or files will be available for you to purchase at my regular pricing. Normally there is a minimum purchase requirement of my smallest package. Not so with this deal. Though you'll find your best value through the purchase of a package any a la carte items may be purchased by you without meeting my regular minimum purchase requirement ($295). SWEET!!!!!
